Dirk Scholtz
Managing Consultant
Dirk holds a degree in Personnel Management from the University of the Orange Free State and a postgraduate diploma in Industrial Relations from the University of Witwatersrand’s Business School.
With over 38 years of experience in the field of labour relations, he has chaired thousands of disciplinary and grievance hearings, covering the full spectrum of cases and representing employers at the CCMA and at Bargaining Councils.
His knowledge and experience also allow him to offer practical and knowledgeable advice on all matters pertaining to the employment relationship, including employment contracts and performance management.
He is experienced in alternative dispute resolution and collective bargaining and is an accredited mediator with Conflict Dynamics. He is also a regional organiser/official of the South Africa United Commercial and Allied Employers Organisation, a duly registered employers organisation.
He is a member of the Durban Chamber of Commerce’s HR Committee and has been a member of this committee for over 20 years, keeping abreast with legislation changes and issues affecting the human resources field.
Roy Sharp
Consultant
Roy is a graduate of the erstwhile University of Port Elizabeth, now the Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University. He holds a B. Com degree majoring in Industrial Psychology and Labour Economics as well as a B. Com Honours qualification with majors in Labour Relations and Industrial Psychology.
Roy has in excess of 46 years of hands-on experience in the human resources, industrial relations, and training and development fields and has worked in both multi-national and local companies ranging from vehicle manufacturing, tyre manufacturing, baking and milling, food manufacturing and textile manufacturing.
Moreover, he has provided a comprehensive service in human resources, industrial relations and training in his capacity as a private consultant to companies in wholesale and retail, refrigeration, printing, construction and chemical manufacturing.
Aside from chairing enquiries and representing clients at the CCMA, Roy has implemented performance management programmes, assisted with employment equity and skills development initiatives, built employer capacity through the recruitment of personnel and introduced basic personnel policies and procedures.
He is also a trained facilitator for the introduction of Quality Circles.

Susan has been in the human resources field for close on 20 years. In this she has worked across the HR value chain with notable achievement in early career management and solid HR administration.
She has worked in both centralised and decentralised environments and has built a commendable personal brand that is synonymous with results based delivery.
Her background spans periods in the banking and retail industries. She has been part of notable organisational changes including working on bedding down HR principles for a retail acquisition and banking organisational renewal.
She brings extensive experience on several complex initiatives in HR management, project management, change management, integration, project execution and collaboration.
Susan exhibits a strong set of interpersonal and administrative skills and can build relationships at all levels of the business.
